TENNIS – Boys

Lunchtime meeting TODAY inside the sport centre for all senior and junior boys tennis players. Aim is to select teams, distribute uniforms and registration forms.

Reminder there is Girl’s Touch training TODAY 330pm-445pm.

Junior Art – come to Art Dept. to pick up work!

Calling all junior art students and past students who have work to collect. Make your way to the Art Dept. and visit your teacher to collect Y9 art painting, print and construction activity. Y10 – art painting and cupcake sculptures. Also pick up folders if you are yet to collect.

Drama – 2019 Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival – keen to participate?

Calling all students keen on a DRAMA challenge. Come and hear more about the University of Otago – Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival, 2019 for West Auckland. It is your chance to design, direct and perform in a scene of Shakespeare for the regional festival potentially to be considered and selected for the National Festival.
Come to Y5 – Tuesday 19th February – lunchtime to hear more. Put this date in your diaries!

ATHLETICS 800M & 1500M

“If you have entered the 800m or 1500m for Athletics Day, heats for these will be run during Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes this week. Finalists will be selected from the results of the lunchtime heats – if you do not run in the heats during the lunchtime, you will not be running the event on Athletics Day.
1500m lunchtime Wednesday
800m lunchtime Thursday
Go straight to the back fields on the lunch bell.”

CRICKET – Junior Boys

Morning Interval meeting inside the sport centre,
for all junior boys cricket team members.

TOUCH – Girls

Girls Touch training commences this Thursday 330pm-445pm.
Bring appropriate clothing and footwear.
First comp game is next Tuesday.

TENNIS – Meeting

Important lunchtime meeting for all interested JUNIOR BOYS and GIRLS tennis players to discuss Term 1 information. Competition commences next Monday.

 

Young Leaders Sustainability Programme

There is an opportunity for two Year 10-12 students who wish to grow their leadership. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic young people who are connected to te taiao (the Natural World) and who want take action for our environment. Games are played at Diocesan Girls College, school van will be leaving from the sports centre at 3.15pm – DO NOT BE LATE.
