Former WSC Student Runs for Council

Former Western Springs College student Josh Doubtfire is running in this years council elections for the Waitemata Local Board. Josh a Freemans Bay local for 15 years was a year 13 student at WSC in 2018 and is now attending the University of Auckland. Josh wants  to bring a youth voice to local government ensuring the city modernises with future generations in mind. He wants improved transport and council accountability through community consultation. The sense of community involvement Josh experienced at WSC gave him a passion to help and represent all whom he shares his community with. Josh is an advocate for cleaning up our waterways in St Marys Bay and Motions and Coxs Creek, improving Western Springs park and saving the speedway.
