Violin Lessons

My name is Antonia Grant and I am taking on new violin students for 2022, ranging from beginner to intermediate level. I am teaching part-time at Saint Mary’s College in Ponsonby and am now opening a private practice based in Westmere. If you are looking for a violin teacher I would love to hear from you.

I have studied violin from a very young age and have been highly involved in ensembles throughout my studies. In 2021 I taught beginner students aged 11-13 at Saint Mary’s and also have coached more senior musical ensembles. I gained NZQA Scholarship Music with an Outstanding result in 2018 and took part in the APO Young Scholars’ programme in 2019. I have extensive performance experience and still do love to perform solo, in chamber ensembles, and in orchestras. The last two years I have focused on my role as President of the Auckland University Student Chamber Orchestra club.
