2022 has seen the introduction of lots of changes to our Learning Center. We have sadly said goodbye to Helen Thorpe and Trina Sellers but have been lucky enough to welcome four new staff members.
In 2022 our team comprises of:
Jess Sinclair (HOD and social sciences)
Simon Henley (Senior maths)
Hannah Dhanaraj (Sciences and junior maths)
Cathryn Redgwell (English and subjects requiring written tasks)
Deanna Borren (English and subjects requiring written tasks)
Learning Centre staff are available to help junior and senior students working at all levels. Our tutors can provide assistance for students in the lead up to an internal or external assessments or work with students to help consolidate material covered in class.
We are happy to work with any student. However, we do operate on the principle that students have to be open to and willing to receiving help. To contact the Learning Centre students just need to email firstname.lastname@example.org with their name and a brief explanation of what they are looking for help with. Alternatively students can come and find us in the teacher workroom in Kawakawa on Level 2.
