In the first week of Term 3, 49 students and 3 staff visited Rotorua to learn first hand about spatial and temporal patterns of tourism development in Rotorua.
From the hot seat at Whakarewarewa and hot mud pools at Hells Gate to the Zorb and Velocity Valley, they experienced cultural tourism and adventure tourism. It wasn’t all adventures and fun, as we had talks from providers at Skyline Gondola and Luge, Velocity Valley and the Zorb, some even offered our students jobs.
