Earlier this years, 22 teams attended the regatta held from the Royal Akarana Yacht Club on March 20th-22nd. This was the second year that WSC has entered a team with the team captain Toby Dunn doing most of the work to get it organised. The teams were sorted into Gold and Silver fleet from the beginning with the traditional power houses in Gold, with WSC rightfully slotting into the Silver fleet. The goal for the team was to improve on last years result of 3 wins over the 2 round robins and they smashed it out of there park this year, winning 8 races and taking a few very good wins over far more experienced teams. The overall event winner was the Auckland Grammar Gold team, with Silver fleet being won by Botany Downs.
The team was made up of three crews: Toby Dunn & Ollie Summers; Tom Gillham & Arabella Green; Luca van Klink & Tom Dagoneau.
