Key dates for Term 2, 2026

Kia ora e te whānau o Springs-Waiorea (WSCW), below are the key dates for Term 2, 2026:

• Mon 20 April – Start of Term 2
• Weds 22 April – Senior (Y11-Y13) Parent/Teacher/Student interviews will take place from 10am to 7pm. All students will learn from home on that day, including Years 9 and 10.
• Mon 27 April – ANZAC Day observed – school closed
• Thurs 30 April – WSCW Swimming Sports
• Mon 18 May – Common Assessment Activity (CAA) exams for seniors – Reading (opportunity 1)
• Tues 19 May – CAA exams for seniors – Writing (opportunity 1)
• Weds 20 May – CAA exams for seniors – Numeracy (opportunity 1)
• Thurs 21 May – Junior (Y9 + Y10) Parent/Teacher/Student interviews. All students will learn from home on that day
• Mon 25 May – WSCW Board Hui #3 (5pm start in staffroom)
• Mon 1 Jun – King’s Birthday observed – school closed
• Thurs 4 Jun – Ngā Manu Kōrero competition (Tāmaki Makarau – Waitematā)
• Fri 5 Jun – Ngā Manu Kōrero competition (Tāmaki Makarau – Waitematā)
• Mon 29 Jun – WSCW Board Hui #4 (5pm start in staffroom)
• Mon 29 Jun to Fri 3 Jul – Kapa Haka Nationals (Tauranga)
• Fri 3 Jul – Term 2 ends
