Another win for the environment! Students from the Kaitiaki roopu, the Trapping crew and Wastewise gave our northern field ngāhere some love. Over 200 plants were added including new species to increase the biodiversity – whau, tarata, nīkau and wharariki. Stakes and plant gaurds were added to keep the pesky rabbits at bay, plus a fertiliser tab for each plant to promote growth. Good fun and lots achieved by a great crew.
