Literacy and Numeracy Corequisite Exams – reminder for all Year 10 whānau
In early September, all students in Year 10 will be sitting their NCEA Common Assessment Activities (CAA) exams.
Literacy: Reading: Tuesday 8th September
Literacy: Writing: Wednesday 9th September
Numeracy: Thursday 10th SeptemberThese assess Literacy and Numeracy at a foundational level and students need to pass them in order to get an NCEA certificate at any level. In subject classes, they would have been engaging with the skills they will need and from this point on, preparation will ramp up.
The best thing for all students to do is read the Preparation Guide and access the links. They have been sent it and you have it here to reinforce the need to work up to the tests should they forget.
