Auckland Transport School Bus

Auckland Transport have been in regular contact with the school and Senior Leadership Team about the amount of students fare jumping on a regular basis on the designated school bus in the afternoon.

Please ensure that your child has a Hop card with money on it for all students who intend to use the bus service.

One very important reason for this is to do with the requests both the school and AT have received about the feasibility of putting a second bus. This is calculated by how many students actually tag on and currently the data shows that there is no need for a second bus despite the bus being full.

We appreciate your support with this issue. There will be a Senior Leader at the bus every afternoon for the next few weeks to monitor this. Tagging other students on causes the bus to be delayed and is difficult for the bus drivers to manage.
