The New Zealand Eating Disorders Clinic (NZEDC) is hosting a free event called HOPE NIGHT…
On behalf of the senior girls First XI, we would like to thank PAG for contributing to our national Kathy Seaward tournament costs this year.
The team thoroughly enjoyed the tournament last week. We were placed in a tough pool and narrowly missed out on a place into the top eight. Despite this, the girls held an amazing attitude and persevered right until the end, demonstrated through the easy wins in our last games (5-1 and 7-1) to finish 9th place convincingly.
The quality of football played throughout the week was extremely high, particularly considering we had nine new players join the squad this season. Despite not achieving the result we hoped for during tournament, the calibre of emerging young players is extremely promising for girls football at the school.
The generosity PAG showed in covering the registration fee for the tournament relieved a lot of pressure on players to cover the cost of attending. We are extremely grateful for the support we received.
