Proposed Science Tour to NASA in 2020

A 12 day tour during the 2020 April Holidays to Florida and San Francisco. This is the 4th iteration of this trip, which we have run successfully on a 2-year rotation since 2014. The trip is open to any Yr 12 or 13 student in 2020,  at WSC who has science courses in their programme.

The trip will include a 3 day “space camp” at Cape Kennedy where the NASA staff will lead the students through a range of activities to simulate a mission to Mars.

This is followed by a 2 day tour of Universal Studio’s theme park which includes a behind the scenes tour.

We will then move to San Francisco where will do a number of tourist activities and visit 2 modern interactive science museums. 

There will be an information evening in the school library on Tuesday 5th March at 5.00PM.
