Green Jam

On Monday the 10th of August our Waste Wise leaders hosted Green Jam at Auckland City Zoo. Almost one hundred tauira from secondary schools all across Auckland including WSCW attended. It was a great opportunity for students to learn, connect and plan with a myriad of different workshops and presentations from groups like Sustainable Coastlines, Ngā Puna o Waiōrea Kaitiakitanga, 350.org, SS4C, Ecomatters and the University of Auckland. Massive thanks & congratulations to the Waste Wise team & friends who organised this successful event. A huge thank you to the Auckland Zoo for hosting the event at no cost, too.  The feature photo is the “Green Jam 2020 organisers”.
