Recently, a team of kaiako had a weeding bee down at the Waitītiko awa that borders the school. It was amazing to see the huge difference a small group made, releasing a significant native planting that will now flourish. The student trapping team continued the work through the lunch break and the Kaitiaki rōpū will be weeding this week.
A second weeding bee will be organised on a Wednesday after school orin the school holidays, date to be confirmed.
