Year 9 Tikanga ā-iwi/Social studies students worked hard and produced amazing stalls for our Christmas shoppers. Their sustainable goods sold like hot cakes, with 50% of the profit going to the student’s charities of choice.
This year we supported the following charities and have made an impressive contribution to each.
Trees for Survival – $1000
Sea Cleaners – $1030
SPCA – $1160
John Kirwan Foundation – $205
Auckland City Mission – $649
Note: these numbers are provisional.
Huge thank-you to Emma Dwyer, the Tikanga ā-iwi/Social Studies department and to all the students – it was such a vibrant event.
