40 Hour Famine

This year the 40 Hour Famine is raising money for refugee children from South Sudan. Conflict, famine and drought have
led thousands of
South Sudanese children to flee their homes, many without their parents. Money raised will help ensure
these kids have access to nutritious food, clean water, safe toilets,
a place to live, and education and play in child friendly spaces.

Famine weekend is from the 8th June to the 10th June. You can give up anything for 40 hours to help make a difference in the lives of refugees.
Signs up have already started. For anyone who wants to sign up, feel free to email one of the four 40
Hour Famine leaders, who are:
Tobias Keddy, Lily Mathews, Helena Copsey and Khushee Jain. There will be more details about the 40 Hour Famine in the notices, so keep an
eye out for all the updates regarding the Famine. We are also in the process of lining up some inspiring speakers to talk to all of us about the
40 Hour Famine. This year, Springs want to raise at least $7k. We can easily reach this goal, if all of us put in a little effort.

Are you ready to help the cause?
