The 3x3 Basketball Tournament at Western Springs College was a fantastic way to encourage more…
Western Springs College-Ngā Puna o Waiōrea (WSCW) have been kindly nominated by the NZ Sailing Trust as the successor of any donations they receive as a recipient of the GOOD IN THE HOOD Z Energy Point Chevalier community fundraiser, which started on the 26th September 2022 and will run for approximately 1 month.
The NZ Sailing Trust deliver youth development programmes on board maxi yachts once sailed by Sir Peter Blake in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race, Lion New Zealand and Steinlager 2.
The NZ Sailing Trust have nominated WSCW to receive this funding to go towards a multi-day sail for a selection of students, which will be undertaken sometime in 2023.
So please get behind our school and show your support by purchasing anything (including fuel) at Z Energy Point Chevalier to receive a token to put in the NZ Sailing Trust slot. At the end of the month the money allocated to Z Energy Point Chevalier will be distributed across the selected charities at that station. The more money in the NZ Sailing Trust slot the more money will get put towards the students at our school and their programme.
The NZ Sailing Trust would like to thank Z Energy Point Chevalier team for selecting us.
