The Social Studies/Tikanga ā-Iwi department would like to invite you all to our Annual…
EARTH DAY
In May this year, we celebrated Earth day (the actual date was 22nd April), with a focus on our ocean, to raise awareness on the importance of looking after our planet. DigiWISE organised a fundraiser to raise money to buy a solar panel (which costs $490) for the school.
Did you know you could support our school and contribute to the purchase of a solar panel?

DigiWISE got their aprons on and had the popcorn machine ready. They raised $63. Well done team!!
RECYCLING TIP
A reminder that here at Springs we recycle pens, pencils, markers and disposable face masks with the collaboration of Terracycle. We also take Ecostore empty containers so we can send them back to Ecostore and make sure plastics don’t enter our oceans.
