During Pride Week, the New Zealand poet laureate Chris Tse visited Springs where he delivered a keynote speech in the hall to over 300 students. He spoke about the major themes that run through the history of poetry, how anybody can be a writer, and his life as a queer Asian poet. He also ran creative writing workshops for several English classes that were inspiring and practical. The visit was organised by the library through ReadNZ. Library book club continues on Thursday lunchtimes. A group of students who love books come together to share what they are reading.

Remember to swing by the library if you need help finding your next favourite book. Sharda and Andrew
