Life Skills class has written a book!

Term one in Life Skills has been an exciting and productive time. The students have written a book!

The inspiration came from horse and knight figurines. Students’ ideas flowed as we imagined ourselves as knights and before we knew it we had created a book called A Week in the Life of Knights. This fabulous book follows the adventures of a group of knights over the period of a week which sees them capturing baddies, sharing meals and attending a ball amongst other exciting events. The class contributed the images for the story; an incredible mix of hand drawings and computer generated images.

We will be celebrating the success of this amazing piece of writing by having a book launch for friends and whanau of the authors.
