  • Be on time to class and to school- all day, everyday! Aim to be at school by 8.45am
  • Attendance matters – 90% attendance is the goal (9 days a fortnight minimum)

  • Summer Sports registration- morning tea and lunchtime in Te Whakamanu Feb 2nd-13th February.

Other very important reminders:

  1. No cellphones to be accessed on campus: phones away in your bags all day
  2. Students must have the permission of their teacher to leave class and only one student can leave class for the toilet or water refilling at a time. Students must access the toilets on the level their classes are in.
  3. Only Y13s have the privilege of leaving campus during break times and their study periods. You must be on time for all classes.
  4. The Northern field is out of bounds during break times except for students playing sports ( note: no one is allowed on the field until after Athletics Day).
  5. In break times all students leave the buildings. If it is raining, a three-bell will be rung and students can stay in the building but only in levels 2 and 3 and terraces in Level 1. Students must be seated in one place and not walk around.
  6. During an evacuation, either a voice-activated alarm or a continuous bell will be rung. Please leave your belongings and move quickly and calmly to the Northern field where you will line up in Whānau classes.
  7. During a lockdown, the bell will be rung intermittently for a minute. You must go into the nearest building if you are outside. Once inside, all students and staff must lie flat on their tummy on the floor and be silent. Lockdown is only over when a member of the senior leadership team physically comes to your area to lift it.
