We are in the process of finalising our donor recognition panel, which will acknowledge all our wonderful whanau, friends, students, alumni and businesses who have contributed solar panels to our 50kW array.  The cut off to be included as a solar donor on the recognition panel is January 30, 2022.

So, if you would like to be a part of this community funded project and donate a solar panel or part panel please see here.

You will be interested to know that since the array went live in January of this year, we have generated enough solar power to cover 26% of our actual power costs for the Ken Havill Centre for Learning and the surrounding buildings.

Total solar generated by solar array since switched on (cumulative)
Total solar kWh generated (since January 2021) 46,725
Total kWh consumed (since January 2021) 175,631
Approximate % of power being covered by solar 26.60%

This solar array will deliver sustainable power to the school for the next 50 years or more – what a wonderful legacy for the community and school.  A very big thank-you goes out to everyone who has supported this project.
