Principal’s Notes

• Stop Press #1:
  Year 9 and 10 Prizegiving is on Friday at 10.00 am in our school Hall.

The Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern will attend.  She will speak to our prize winners and help me present some of the prizes.
Yes, she will have baby Neve with her. If you are planning to attend you should be seated by 9.45 am.
The main entrance to the school will be fenced off as part of the construction project so visitor entrance to the Hall will be through the side doors facing Motions Road.

• Stop Press #2:
  Our new buildings will be handed over ready for occupation during the term 2 school holidays, 2019.  To enable the shift of materials, furniture, equipment and technology our term 2 break will be extended to three weeks in duration – the Gazetted school holiday of July 8th to 19th and an additional third week July 22nd to 26th.  This third week is an extra holiday for students only as it will be a ‘teacher only week’ for our staff to ready themselves for the arrival of students into the new school in Term 3.  Term 3 2019 for students therefore will start on Monday July 29th.
