Congratulations to all of our manu mātauranga, manu kōrero who took part in our internal Ngā Manu…

In mid-June, the Year 13 Business Studies class was fortunate to have Professor Paul Ballantine (Executive Dean of Business) from the University of Canterbury come and discuss Marketing.
Professor Ballantine explained “Marketing isn’t a science otherwise all companies would be successful. There are no right answers only better informed opinions. You need to make your opinions believable to others.”
Modern NZ examples were given and the class then had a fascinating debate on potential branding they would use for meat-looking mince made from plants, which produced a range of opinions and lots of interactive discussion.
