Geography Trip to Hawaii

Expressions of interest are required for a proposed

Year 13 GEOGRAPHY Field Trip to HAWAII in 2019.

Proposed dates are Friday 22 March 2019 to Friday 29 March 2019

This fieldtrip would replace the current Queenstown study of a tourist destination for the external assessment AS91427 the Cultural Process of Tourism Development (4 credits) and internal assessment AS91430 Research (5 credits)

It would involve return flights on Hawaiian Airlines, accomodation at the Ashton Waikiki Sunset hotel and visits to Pearl Harbour and USS Arizona Memorial, Bishops Museum, Coffee and Macadamia Farm, Kualoa Ranch Movie Tour, Polynesian Centre including dinner, Diamond Head transfers, talks from Oahu Tourism Board and Hotel management and a visit to the Ala Moana Shopping Centre.

Price per student is estimated as a maximum of  $3299.00.
